You fiddle for 10 minutes every time you change the channel. The only redeeming feature is that it will inspire you to give up TV and take up reading. Two is that it is extremely directional. One night of use and it looks like it's been kicked down the stairs. One is poor mechanical design. Two problems with this. It is top heavy and has unstable base, so it is always falling over and bending the paper-thin aluminum extensions. Has to be in different position for every station, and since it won't work when you stand next to it, you must move it a few degrees, step back 10 feet, go back and move a few more degrees, and so on.
Brought in all the Digital channels that I could not get previously. Great choice for an Indoor Digital Antenna. A Winner.
So far, I have not gone to any remote areas, so I can't say how well it would work there. It worked great. This antenna was purchased along with a TV for my small motorhome. I was worried about the reception since I don't have an antenna on the motorhome. I was able to pick up the local channels and, by moving the antenna around, had a pretty decent picture.
I can only get 3 channels to work properly.I either don't get reception for other channels or the signal is choppy at best.Waste of money.
The antenna worked great the first week I had it, but then the amplifier quit working. I would not recommend this product to my friends. This item is the same as the unamplified version of the antenna, but they provide a cheap in-line amplifier with it. In reading other reviews I found that this is quite common.
